Dive at Southwater Marine Reserve

Ready for an adventure? Your day will kick off by meeting Captain Jak and your dive master to gear up for an unforgettable experience. Once you’re totally outfitted by our expert staff and given the green light by our dive master, it’s time to hit the open seas! Departing at 7:00 AM sharp (8:00 AM for the two-tank dive), we’ll make our way towards Grand Channel, exploring stunning private islands and taking in the awe-inspiring shades of blue that Belize is famous for.  Dives here range 60 – 80 feet.

Your first dive will take you on a descent of the barrier reef wall, where you’ll come face-to-face with some of the ocean’s coolest creatures like turtles, eagle rays, and eels. And if you’re lucky, you might just spot “Star Boy” – a legendary hammerhead who calls this place home.

Afterwards, we’ll take an hour-long break to refuel with delicious snacks and fresh fruit while your guides give you the inside scoop on the upcoming dive. Then it’s time to dive into the inner reef wall at 60 feet, where you’ll discover a whole new underwater world filled with nurse sharks, vibrant tropical fish, and more.
